Pachamama Knitwear Tea Cosies

Pachamama Knitwear began in 1990 trading goods from the Andean Mountains of South America, Pachamama translates as 'Earth Mother' from the ancient language of the Incas.

Since 1996 Pachamama Knitwear has been trading in hand-knitted woollen products from Nepal, including tea cosies.

Tea Cosies became popular in the UK during the 1860’s, attributed to the Duchess of Bedford who popularised ‘afternoon tea’.

These Pachamama Tea Cosies are hand knitted, made from 100% wool, fleece lined, made to fit a typical 6 cup teapot and they are all fairly traded.
